Frequently Asked
Questions.
Helpful information for preparing a multi-category purchasing list or sourcing inquiry with HALDEN.
Can HALDEN review a purchasing list that spans several product categories?
Yes. You can send a combined list of materials, machinery, chemicals, or petroleum products. We assess each item against its specification and supply requirements, then discuss how the related purchasing and service needs can be organized. A combined inquiry does not necessarily mean every item will have the same supplier or delivery schedule.
Is the product portfolio limited to the examples shown on this website?
The examples describe our principal trading areas. If a related item is not listed, send its description and intended use. We can assess whether it fits our scope and whether a suitable supply option is available before committing.
Can we request specific documents as part of a product offer?
Please identify the documents you need at the inquiry stage, such as technical data, material information, or evidence of origin. Availability depends on the product and supplier. We clarify what can be provided so those requirements can form part of your purchasing decision.
What happens if our quantity or delivery requirements change after we receive a quotation?
Tell us which details have changed before accepting the offer. We will review the effect on product availability, price, freight, and any related services. Revised requirements may need an updated quotation and fresh confirmation of the delivery arrangement.
Do you consider both project purchases and recurring supply inquiries?
Yes. For a project, send the list of materials or equipment and the intended purchase period. For recurring requirements, include expected usage and ordering frequency. Each inquiry is assessed on the products, volumes, and supporting services involved.
What’s on your supply list?
Share the items, quantities and destination. We’ll review the requirements with you.
